On Friday November 24th 2006, 155 (Maidenhead) Squadron ATC held their annual award and presentation evening.
Air Commodore A. Pulford CBE RAF, Director Air Resources and Programmes was the reviewing officer and also
presented the awards. The ceremony was held in the presence of the members of staff from Thames Valley Wing, 155
Squadron ATC and the parents, friends and families of the cadets.
The awards presented were as follows:
The Sqn Ldr Bill Pegg memorial salver for the best junior cadet - Cadet Jack Ryan
Graham England Memorial Salver for best all round cadet - Cadet Catriana McGeachie This award is presented in memory of Graham England, a former cadet of 155 (Maidenhead) Squadron ATC, who joined the RAF as a fighter pilot and was posted with an RAF Phantom Squadron. Graham tragically lost his life in an air crash at his home station in Suffolk. It is presented to the cadet who excels in all aspects of ATC life.

Scholastic Achievement for achieving good ATC exam results – Cdt Benjamin Brown
The Marksmanship award – Cdt Oliver Beck

The following promotions were also presented

The squadron then made a presentation to the Windsor & Eton barnch of the RAFA towards their funds. This was £300 raised by the
cadets and staff of the squadron. The cheque was received by Mr Peter Stringer.
Once the awards and certificates had been presented by Air Commodore Pulford, the cadets presented several displays of ATC
activities. Included in these displays were adventure training, fieldcraft, First Aid, squadron History, leadership exercises and ATC radio.
This award is presented for the first time in memory of Sqn Ldr Bill Pegg, former chairman of the Windsor & Eton Branch of the RAFA.
It is presented to the cadet who has excelled during their first 6 months with the Squadron.
The Robinson Trophy was presented to 155 Sqn by the former Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead, Councillor Robinson.
It is presented to a junior cadet, who shows commitment and determination.
The Shinner Trophy was presented to 155 Sqn by WO Tony Margerison in memory of his RAF Regiment colleague who was killed
in active service whilst serving in Germany in 1988.
